Striking the Balance: Navigating the Demands of TA-ing and Dissertation Writing

Graduate students often find themselves balancing multiple roles, and one of the most challenging combinations is serving as a Teaching Assistant (TA) while also writing a dissertation. This event will provide a platform for graduate students to discuss strategies for managing the demands of both responsibilities. We’ll explore time management techniques, tips for staying productive in both teaching and research, and how to set boundaries to protect your mental health and academic progress.

We will share their insights on how to manage these dual roles without sacrificing personal well-being or academic success.

Join us for an engaging conversation, practical advice, and a chance to connect with fellow graduate students navigating similar challenges!

If you are a graduate student and are having problems with registration or have any questions, please reach out to Aselle Almuratova, ACTR Graduate Student Representative, at almuratova@wisc.edu.

    Warm regards,
    ACTR
